Practical tips that make your visit easier

Security and queues

All visitors undergo standard security screening. No guaranteed skip-the-line access, no priority access and no private use of the monument.

Luggage and strollers

Avoid large luggage, which is prohibited; there is no luggage storage. Only foldable strollers are accepted.

Families and access

Children under four still need a free ticket. Stairs are unsuitable for some families and guests with reduced mobility; select a suitable confirmed ticket.

Clothing and time

Upper levels are windier and cooler. Allow around 1.5–2+ hours for floor two or 2–3+ hours for summit; queues can lengthen visits.

Dining and shopping

Madame Brasserie (floor 1) and Le Jules Verne (floor 2) require separate restaurant arrangements. Buffets, macarons, champagne, gifts and souvenirs cost extra unless stated.
