Cancellation Policy
General rules for cancelling SmartWay bookings.
1. Product-specific rules
The cancellation conditions displayed for the selected transfer, tour, ticket or travel service at the time of booking are controlling. Different products may have different deadlines and refund levels.
2. Customer cancellation
A cancellation is effective when received by SmartWay through the contact channel stated in the booking. We recommend providing the booking reference and travel date.
3. Late cancellation and no-show
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to 100% where this is stated in the booking conditions or reflects costs already committed to suppliers.
4. Changes requested by the customer
Date, time, route, passenger-number or service changes are subject to availability and may change the price. A change is valid only after confirmation.
5. Cancellation by SmartWay or supplier
If SmartWay or a supplier cancels the service and no suitable alternative is accepted, the customer will receive the refund required by the applicable contract and law.
6. Force majeure and disruption
Extraordinary events such as severe weather, strikes, road closures, security restrictions or public-authority measures may affect performance. We will communicate available options as soon as reasonably possible.
